This project is just getting started. I’ve created a world, an underdog protagonist, an expanding cast of characters and plots, and a list of ideas that grows constantly. There’s enough here to make numerous CNFT collections, a comic, a game … who knows?
But there’s no team. There’s no developer, no algorithm. It is just me with knees full of gravel, a stylus in my hand, and maybe a little more “get the hell out of my way” than you’re used to.
There’s no roadmap or timeline for me to tell this story. I have to create a different policy for each collection in this project to make sure they lock in time to signal honest intentions on my part.
But the policy verification process is not yet streamlined on Cardano. Of the two processes I’m aware of, Tokhun’s takes very little time. The other takes weeks. I’m gonna do the one that takes the least time. Soon, there will be a standard way to do this that makes it verified everywhere on Cardano.
So if anyone wonders why Love Machine isn’t verified anywhere but Tokhun, that’s why.
And if anyone doubts my intentions about this project, they can watch what happens and decide for themselves. I’ll always publish my policy IDs. And here’s the awesome thing about the blockchain — anyone with the transaction hash and an internet connection can see what I’m up to.
Rick Moranis could be looking up a transaction from his swimming pool right now.
This collection introduces all the characters in the Love Machine series.

I decided to revive the original series of Love Machine paintings from 2007-2008, fix what wasn’t working, and mint them as a mini-series of singles.
These are all 1/1, minted under a policy that locks on Oct 28, 2021. There will be nine altogether. I’ll drop 4-6 on Wednesday, Oct 06, and 7-9 on Wednesday, Oct 13.

love machine's mission
Love Machine dreams of a decentralized society. But the Decentrabot leaders can’t get past their differences to cooperate instead of competing. Somehow, he and his friends must help them see that.
So what if it won’t happen overnight? Who cares if the odds are staggering? That’s not going to stop him from giving 100%. There’s one thing about Love Machine you can count on.
He always bites off more than he can chew, but he does not give up on what’s important to him.
do you think decentralization can help us live better lives?
If you do, then spread the news. There’s a better way. It’s called DeFi. And, until I tried it, I thought it was just another pipe dream. But I’m living proof that if you want to learn the skills and apply the talents and knowledge you’ve acquired along the way, you can flourish in a blockchain ecosystem.
The blockchain isn’t here to confuse you. It’s here to liberate you. Follow the story of Love Machine to learn how.
