Love Machine on Cardano

This project is just getting started. I’ve created a world, an underdog protagonist, an expanding cast of characters and plots, and a list of ideas that grows constantly. There’s enough here to make numerous NFT collections, a comic, a game … who knows?

But there’s no team. There’s no developer, no algorithm, no roadmap, no whitepaper. Just me with knees full of gravel, a stylus in my hand, and maybe a little more “get the hell out of my way” than you’re used to.

Policy verification on Cardano is a hot mess. It’s gatekept and platform developers have abused it. But here’s the awesome thing about the blockchain — anyone with the transaction hash and an internet connection can see what I’m up to.

This is the first short run, five different versions of Love’s head. These are all based on the ceramic head I made in a hand-building class one year. It’s missing its ears. Love is supposed to have ears, but here’s the thing.

I ran out of time.

So he’s out there now without his ears, and that’s why these are rare. These are all single mints.

The first head shot series was essentially a style experiment to help me figure out how I wanted to draw these characters and scenes. I didn’t know at the time that PFPs were a thing and shocked when they sold so fast.

You wanted more, so I’m making an expanded collection for you. There will be 20 featuring Love, and 20 with other characters.

This series ties in with Shorts #1 and introduces a new character. Stanislav is Love’s best friend and dreams of opening a high end restaurant downtown. Until then, he’s working hard to perfect his recipes and serve up delicious stews from his food truck.

Love dreams of a decentralized society. But the Decentrabot leaders can’t get past their differences to cooperate instead of competing. Somehow, he and his friends must help them see that.

So what if it won’t happen overnight? Who cares if the odds are staggering? That’s not going to stop him from giving 100%. There’s one thing about Love you can count on.

He always bites off more than he can chew, but he does not give up on what’s important to him.
